Overview
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your LS Suite email account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. Once enabled, you'll need to enter a time-based code generated by an authenticator app each time you log in to Webmail or the Control Panel.
Explanation:
- Install an Authenticator App
Download and install an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy on your smartphone. - Log in to your LS Suite Webmail account.
- Click the Settings icon (⚙️).
- Under General settings, click on Security > Set OTP.
- Scan the QR Code shown on the screen, with your authentication app, and nter the 6-digit code generated by the app to confirm activation.
Important Notes
- If your domain administrator requires 2FA, you will not be able to disable it.
- Make sure to back up your authentication method in case you change devices.
