Changing Incoming/Outgoing server for Zimbra on Android

This tutorial will show you how to update your account by following a few easy steps to update your Zimbra Account incoming and outgoing server on you Android mail client:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. In case you configured your email as an “Exchange”:
    • Tap on Exchange and select your Zimbra account to update.
    • Under Server settings choose Incoming settings.
    • In the Server field, replace the existing incoming mail server with your new server’s name, then tap Done.
  4. In case you configured your email as an “IMAP/POP3” account:
    • Tap on Email and select your Zimbra account to update.
    • Under Server settings choose Incoming settings.
    • In the Server field, replace the existing incoming mail server with your new server’s name, then tap Done.
    • Under Server settings choose Outgoing settings.
    • In the Server field, replace the existing outgoing mail server with your new server’s name, then tap Done.

Now you will have successfully changed your Zimbra account settings.
