Page Rules allow you to control and customize how Cloudflare settings are applied to specific URLs on your website. This feature enables you to optimize performance, enhance security, and modify the behavior of individual URLs.
Create Page Rule easily by specifying the URL pattern and selecting the actions you want to apply. Actions can include settings like forwarding URLs, adjusting caching, or enabling SSL.
Configuring Settings and Actions:
- Define URL patterns that trigger your Page Rules:
- Exact Match: To apply a rule to a specific URL, enter the exact match of that URL.
- Wildcard Matching: To apply rules to multiple URLs with similar patterns, use wildcards (the asterisk “*” character). This allows you to target groups of URLs efficiently.
- Pick a setting from the dropdown menu that you wish to apply to the specified URL.
- Select the appropriate action from the subsequent dropdown menu.
- If you want to apply additional settings, click on Add a Setting to include more configurations.
- Once you’ve configured all the desired settings and actions, click Save and Deploy to activate your Page Rule.
