How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication for LS Suite Webmail

Overview

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your LS Suite email account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. Once enabled, you'll need to enter a time-based code generated by an authenticator app each time you log in to Webmail or the Control Panel.

Explanation:

  1. Install an Authenticator App
Download and install an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy on your smartphone.
  2. Log in to your LS Suite Webmail account.
  3. Click the Settings icon (⚙️).
  4. Under General settings, click on Security > Set OTP.
  5. Scan the QR Code shown on the screen, with your authentication app, and nter the 6-digit code generated by the app to confirm activation.

 Important Notes

  • If your domain administrator requires 2FA, you will not be able to disable it.
  • Make sure to back up your authentication method in case you change devices.
