How to Point DNS Records for LS Suite Manually

Overview:

After verifying your domain ownership, the next step is to point your domain’s DNS records to start using LS Suite for your email service. Updating these records ensures that your domain routes email traffic correctly through our secure LS Suite platform.

Explanation:

To activate your LS Suite mail service, you need to update the following DNS records for your domain's DNS:

MX Record

This record routes incoming email to LS Suite.

TypeNamePriorityValue
MX@10mx01.lsbox.email
MX@20mx02.lsbox.email

Note: Make sure to remove any existing MX records before adding this one.

SPF Record

This TXT record helps prevent spammers from sending unauthorized emails from your domain.

TypeNameValue
TXT@v=spf1 include:spf.lsbox.email mx a -all

Once you've added or updated your DNS records, it may take up to 24 hours for the changes to fully propagate.

Automatic DKIM Signature (Default)

All emails sent from LS Suite are automatically signed with a shared DKIM signature. This is enabled by default for all users to provide immediate security and improve email deliverability without any manual configuration.

This signature helps recipient servers verify that the email was legitimately sent from a server authorized by our platform.

Because this is an automated process, you don't need to take any action to benefit from this security feature.

Custom DKIM Signature (Manual Setup)

While our default DKIM signature works for everyone, some advanced users may want to set up a unique DKIM signature for their domain. The manual setup option you see is for this purpose.

A custom DKIM signature provides a unique layer of authentication that is specific only to your domain. This requires you to manually add a TXT record to your domain's DNS zone.
