• Getting the authorization key (EPP).

• Removing the Domain lock.
•  Removing of the Privacy feature.

What is the EPP code

The EPP Code is basically a password for a domain name. It is a security measure, ensuring that only the domain name owner can transfer a domain name. You will need it if you are wanting to transfer the domain to another registrar.

How to get an authorization key (EPP)

When a client wants to transfer the .ly domain name from another registrar to LibyanSpider (transfer IN) you need to get your EPP code. You can get the EPP by doing the following:

Get the EPP code from the Client Area

1. Log on to your account on the Client Area.
2. From the side menu, Choose Domain a drop-down menu will appear, select My Domain.
3. On the domain you want to transfer click at the more icon with three dots, a drop-down menu will appear to choose Manage Domain.
4. Managing domain page will appear, from the management side menu, select Get the EPP Code.

Get the EPP code from the Whois

1. Using the following URL: https://whois.nic.ly/whois.jsp#
2. In the (.LY ccTLD WHOIS Site) click Key Retrieval.
3. Enter your domain name, and enter the Captcha key.
4. Click Submit Label.
5. an email with a verification link will be sent to the email showing from Whois.
6. After verifying, a link with the EPP code will be sent.

How to unlock your domain

1. Log on to your account on the Client Area.
2. From the side menu, Choose Domain a drop-down menu will appear, select My Domain.
3. On the domain you want to transfer click at the more icon with three dots, a drop-down menu will appear to choose Manage Domain.
4. Managing domain page will appear, from the management side menu select Register Lock, now you can activate and deactivate the domain lock using the switcher.

How to transfer your Domain to Libyan Spider (transfer IN)

1. Log on to your account on the Client Area.
2. From the side menu, click on Domain Names > Transfer Domains to Us
3. Transfer Domain page will appear, please enter your domain name.
4. Then, enter the authorization code (EPP) in the Authorization Code field, which we explained on the previous page
5. Next, the Domains Configuration page will appear, you can specify your domain configuration you can select a DNS management service.
6. You can specify your domain Nameserver, and you can select a hosting plan for your domain.
7. After specifying your domain Configurations, click the Continue button.
8. Review & Checkout page will appear, check your billing details, then you can specify your Domain Registrant Information.
9. Choose a payment method, if you have any additional Note you can add them.
10. After completing the checkout process, make sure to accept the terms and conditions, then click Checkout.
11. A new page will appear with your invoice, the invoice will be sent by email to you, with a notification for the transfer order you requested.

How to transfer your Domain out of Libyan Spider (transfer OUT)

When a client wants to transfer the (.ly) domain name from Libyan Spider to another service provider (transfer Out) you need to get your EPP code. You can get the EPP, and unlock your domain, and follow your service provider instructions.
