Editing files using File Manager

By default, you can edit your website pages in File Manager using the HTML editor, the WYSIWYG editor, which automatically adds the necessary HTML tags. You can use this editor if you are not familiar with HTML.

  1. Login to Plesk panel.
  2. From the side menu, click on Files.
  3. Click on the file whose contents you want to edit, a list of editing settings will appear.
  4. Click on the edit option that suits you.
Note

If you have the Rich Editor extension installed, you can also use it to edit HTML files in File Manager. Rich Editor is a WYSIWYG editor like Code Editor but with more features (eg a built-in spell checker).
