How to Install SSL on Sucuri

Overview

The following lesson will guide you through installing SSL certificates on Sucuri firewall, ensuring secure HTTPS connections for your website.

Note
Please note that it may take up to 10 minutes for the SSL certificate installation to fully propagate

Prerequisites

1. SSL Certificate
2. Private Key: This key was generated when you requested your SSL certificate. It's crucial to keep this private and secure. You can learn more about private keys in this lesson

Access Sucuri Firewall Dashboard

1. Login to Client area
2. Navigate to Cloud Services
3. Click on الحماية والأمان – جدار الناري لتطبيقات الويب Sucuri

Install SSL Certificate on Sucuri Firewall

1. From the left side panel, under security, click on HTTPS/SSL
2. Click the Upload Certificate button
3. You will be presented with two text fields
   1. Private Key: Carefully paste the entire content of your private key file into this field. Ensure you include the —–BEGIN PRIVATE KEY—– and —–END PRIVATE KEY—– markers.
   2. SSL Certificate: Paste the entire content of your SSL certificate file into this field. Ensure you include the Ensure you include the —–BEGIN CERTIFICATE—– and —–END CERTIFICATE—– markers.
4. Paste your private key in the “Private Key” field and your SSL certificate in the “SSL Certificate” field.
5. Click save
