How to Park a Domain in cPanel

Overview

In the new version of cPanel, you will see in the domain section Aliases instead of parked domain, they are the same thing but with different names, in this article, you will learn how to Park a Domain in cPanel with “alias”.

What is Parked domain

To redirect a given domain name to a different domain you need to use a parked domain for cPanel, for example, if you had an “example.com” domain and you wanted “example.org” to display the same website, you should set up a hosted domain or alias. 

Create a parked domain

In these steps you will learn how to create park a domain in cPanel:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account
  2. From the domains section click on the Aliases icon.
  3. The Aliases page will appear in the Create a New Alias section. Enter the parked domain you wish to create.

Delete parked domain

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. From the domains section click on the Aliases icon.
  3. The Aliases page will appear in the Remove Aliases search field. Enter the parked domain you wish to delete.
  4. Or from the list of the parked domains, select the Aliases you want to delete and click Delete.
  5. You can redirect the domain to another URL using the Manage Redirect link.
