Create an Alias Domain in the cPanel

Overview

In the new version of cPanel, you can add Alias Domains from the Domains menu. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create and delete a parked domain from the cPanel.

What is an Alias Domain?

To redirect a specific domain name to a different domain, you need to use a parked domain, for example, if you have a domain “example.com” and want “example.org” to display the same website, you should set up a parked domain or alias.

Create and Delete an Alias Domain


1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. The cPanel's main page will appear. from Domain menu, click on Domains icon.
3. Click on Create A New Domain button.
4. Enter the alias domain name.
5. Make sure to select the Share document root option.
