How to Set Up Microsoft 365 Email on iPhone and iPad

You can access your Microsoft 365 email on an iPhone or iPad using the Microsoft Outlook app or the built-in Mail app. Choose either method below.

Option 1: Set up email in Microsoft Outlook

1. Download Microsoft Outlook from the App Store and open it.
2. Tap Add Account and enter your email address.
3. Enter your password and follow the sign-in prompts.
4. Complete any identity verification requested on the screen.
5. Open your inbox to confirm that your messages appear.

If you already use Outlook, go to Settings → Account → Add Account → Email Account to add another account.

Option 2: Set up email in the Mail app

1. Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account.
2. Select Microsoft Exchange.
3. Enter your email address and tap Next.
4. Tap Sign In, enter your password, and complete any verification prompts.
5. Accept the requested permissions.
6. Choose what you want to sync, such as Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, then tap Save.

Menu names may vary slightly depending on your device’s software version. If your organization requires additional security steps, follow the on-screen instructions or contact support. Never share your password or verification code.
