Manage DNS records in Client Area

Overview

DNS records are the data elements that define the structure and content of the domain name space. All DNS operations are ultimately formulated in terms of DNS records.
You can easily add and manage DNS records using DNS management options in Client Area.

Note

Premium DNS Cloud Hosting is a paid service that needs subscription. DNS Manager is available as a Client Area feature only if you have ordered the service.

DNS Settings – Windows Hosting

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. In homepage, click on Cloud Services.
  3. From My Products & Services list, select the required Windows hosting service, which will direct you to the service management page.
  4. In Manage Account side menu, click on DNS Settings.
  5. Click the edit icon next to the domain name in the list.
  6. To create a new DNS record, click the Create DNS Record button.
    • From the Type drop-down menu, select the required record type.
    • Fill out the required data boxes, which may change depending on the selected type.
    • Click Create to finish creating the record, after which it will appear on the list.
  7. To edit the DNS record data, click on the edit icon next to the DNS record in the list.
  8. Click on the delete icon next to the DNS record in the list to delete the record.

DNS Zone Editor – Linux Hosting

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. In homepage, click on Cloud Services.
  3. From My Products & Services list, select the required Linux hosting service, which will direct you to the service management page.
  4. In Manage Account side menu, click on DNS Zone Editor.
  5. Click the edit icon next to the domain name in the list.
  6. To create a new DNS record, click the Create DNS Record button.
    • From the Type drop-down menu, select the required record type.
    • Fill out the required data boxes, which may change depending on the selected type.
    • Click Create to finish creating the record, after which it will appear on the list .
  7. Click on the delete icon next to the DNS record in the list to delete the record.
