Two-Factor Authentication Tutorial

The focus of this tutorial is on websites that have already been configured with the 2FA (two-factor authentication) feature.

• First-Time Setup:

1. Download an Authenticator app on your mobile device (you can use any authenticator app. For this tutorial, we’ll use Google Authenticator App).
2. Log in to your website.
3. After logging in, Setting up TOTP window will appear, follow the steps and click I’M READY.
4. Open the Authenticator app on your mobile phone, and tap the + option at the bottom of the screen.
5. Select the Scan a QR code option and scan the code you got in step 3.
6. A Pop-up window will appear, enter your code in the Authentication Code field, then click Validate & Save.

• Regular Login:

1. Log in to your website.
2. Open Google Authenticator on your mobile device.
3. After logging in, an Authentication code pop-up window will appear.
4. Enter the code from the Authenticator app in the Authentication code field, then click Log in.
