Overview
The Reinstallation section lets you choose an operating system image for your VPS. Reinstallation is intended for replacing the installed system, not for ordinary restarts or routine password recovery.
Before You Begin
Confirm the correct VPS and intended image. Check application compatibility, licenses, and the access credentials or keys you will use afterward. The available images depend on the service; Linux and Windows services may offer different choices.
1. Access Your VPS Service
- Sign in to the Client Area.
- Open Cloud Service from the menu or dashboard.
- Choose the VPS you want to manage from the list.
2. Open Reinstallation
- Under Management, select Reinstallation.
- Review the Virtual Machine Images list.
- Identify the required operating system and version. Do not assume that every image shown in an example is available or appropriate for your service.
3. Select the Intended Image
Selecting an image may lead to a confirmation or additional requirements. Read the displayed instructions before proceeding. If the impact on existing data, access details, or the next step is unclear, cancel and contact Support.
4. Verify Access after a Completed Reinstall
After the platform reports that the operation has completed, check the VM state and use Console or the supported remote-access method to verify the new operating system. Restore your required data and configuration from verified backups. If the operation does not complete or access fails, contact Support.
