Active Protection, ThreatShield, and SmartWAF cover different types of security activity. Your available features depend on your hosting service and selected addons.
Service names and report tabs
| English | العربية | Report tab |
|---|---|---|
| Monarx Website Protection | Monarx لحماية المواقع | Active Protection |
| Monarx Website Threat Shield | Monarx درع المواقع ضد التهديدات | ThreatShield |

Use the full service names when checking your subscription or contacting Support. Active Protection, ThreatShield, and Firewall Activity are dashboard report labels. The services remain separate offerings; one subscription does not automatically include every feature.
| Feature | What it focuses on | What its reports show |
|---|---|---|
| Active Protection | Malware detection and automatic remediation when enabled | File discoveries and recorded cleanup, quarantine, or patching activity |
| ThreatShield | Web-request protection at the application runtime | Requests recorded or blocked by security rules |
| SmartWAF | Server firewall and network activity | Blocked events, IP activity, and blocked data |
For shared hosting, server-level protection may already cover your account. An eligible addon can provide detailed account reports. Check your current protection status before assuming that locked reports mean protection is off.
For VPS and Dedicated Servers, a correctly installed and connected agent is needed for this integration. A server can be detecting malware without automatically removing it.
SmartWAF reporting is currently available for eligible VPS/server services. It is not a per-account shared-hosting reporting feature.
Buying one addon does not automatically include the other features. Review the offering and price shown for your service before ordering. A purchase confirmation and a protection status describe different things: check that setup has completed.
If you are unsure which option fits your service, contact Support with your service name and the feature you want to understand.
