Monarx Website Protection and Server Protection: understanding reports

This guide explains reports for Monarx Website Protection on hosting accounts and Monarx Server Protection on servers. File-security reports appear under Active Protection in the Monarx dashboard.

Active Protection reports show recorded file-security activity for your selected service and period.

Open the security dashboard, choose Active Protection, and select Today, Week, or Month.

MetricWhat it represents
DiscoveriesDiscovery records returned for the selected period
QuarantinedRecorded quarantine actions
CleanedRecorded cleaning actions
PatchedRecorded patching actions

The charts show how activity is distributed over time. The event log provides individual records you can open for more context.

These are activity figures, not a simple current infection balance. Subtracting remediation counts from discoveries does not reliably tell you how many infected files remain.

Investigating a finding

  1. Select the relevant reporting period.
  2. Find the event in the log.
  3. Open its details.
  4. Check the file, classification, recorded action, and remediation status where available.
  5. Contact Support if the result is unclear or you believe the issue remains.

A finding may be classified as malicious, compromised, or vulnerable. Read the specific result rather than treating every classification as the same problem.

An Open security alerts count in the compact summary is a separate notification count. It is not the same measure as file discoveries in the activity report.

No recorded activity does not certify that a website is clean. If you have symptoms or another security warning, ask Support to investigate.
