Monarx Server SmartWAF: understanding Firewall Activity reports

This guide explains Monarx Server SmartWAF. Its reports appear under Firewall Activity in the Monarx dashboard and are available for eligible VPS and server services.

SmartWAF / Firewall Activity reports are available for eligible VPS and server services. They show network-activity information for the server, rather than a single shared-hosting account.

Open your server’s security dashboard and select Firewall Activity where available.

MetricWhat it means
Blocked eventsRecorded blocked activity in the selected period
Blocked IPs (daily total)Daily IP counts added together
Data blockedThe amount of blocked data reported for the selected period

Blocked IPs (daily total) is not a count of unique IPs across the whole period. If the same IP is counted on two days, it can contribute on both days.

The chart shows activity over time. The event log provides individual network records and their available details.

Reporting access versus protection

An active reporting addon does not alone confirm that the server firewall is enabled. Check the actual firewall state shown for your server.

If you have ordered the addon but the firewall remains disabled, unavailable, or awaiting setup, contact Support to verify completion. Do not place another order to resolve the state.

The current client interface provides reporting rather than a SmartWAF on/off switch. SmartWAF reports are separate from ThreatShield’s web-request reports.

If you cannot find the page, confirm that you selected the correct server service and have the relevant addon.
