How to Manage Domain Aliases throught the Client Area

Content
  1. Overview
  2. Steps to Manage Domain Aliases

Overview

Domain Aliases allow you to add additional domain names that point to your primary website. This is useful for having multiple domains (with different spellings or extensions) redirect to the same content, increasing reach and accessibility without the need for separate hosting.

For example, both example.com and example.net can display the same website by adding one as a domain alias.

Important Note
Make sure the domain you are adding as an alias is pointed to the same server (via DNS settings) to function correctly.
Domain aliases do not have their own mailboxes or websites—they share everything with the main domain.
You may need to update DNS records with your registrar to ensure the alias works properly.

Steps to Manage Domain Aliases

  1. Log in to your account through the Client Area.
  2. From the main menu, go to Cloud Services > My Hosting and Services.
  3. A list of your hosting services will appear.
  4. Click on the hosting service where you want to manage domain aliases.
  5. A new window will open showing the control panel features of your site.
  6. Click the Domain Aliases icon.
  7. Click on Create Domain Alias.
  8. In the New Domain Alias field, enter the domain name you want to add (e.g., myalias.com).
  9. Click Confirm to complete the process.
