How to Set Up an Email Forwarder in cPanel

Overview

Email forwarding allows you to redirect incoming emails from one address to another automatically. This feature is useful when you want to receive emails from multiple addresses in a single inbox or when retiring an old email address.

This guide will show you how to create an email forwarder in cPanel, so emails sent to one address are automatically sent to another.

Note
You can forward emails to multiple addresses by separating them with commas (e.g., [email protected], [email protected]).

Steps to Create an Email Forwarder in cPanel

  1. Log into your cPanel account.
  2. Navigate to Mail > Forwarders.
  3. On the Forwarders page, click Add Forwarder.
  4. On the “Add a New Forwarder” page:
    • In the Address field, enter the username of the email address you want to forward from.
    • Choose the appropriate domain from the drop-down menu.
    • In the Destination field, enter the full email address you want the messages to be forwarded to.
  5. Click Add Forwarder to save the changes.
