Overview
This guide explains how to redirect your domain using the Client Area. You can set up either a temporary (302) or permanent (301) redirect.
- Temporary Redirect (302): Recommended for short-term changes, as it does not cache the redirect.
- Permanent Redirect (301): Used for permanent changes, stored in browser memory.
Redirecting Your Domain to Another Webpage
- Log in to Your Client Area
- Go to Cloud Services > My Hosting and Services.
- Locate the hosting package you want to manage and click on it.
- From the Manage Account side menu, select Domain Redirects.
- Click Create Forwarder. A pop-up form will appear.
- Fill in the required details:
Redirect Type: Choose between temporary (302) or permanent (301).
Domain Name and Directory: Select the domain and directory to redirect.
Target Directory: Enter the destination URL.
- Redirection Options:
Only redirect with www | Redirects users who include “www”. |
Redirect with or without www | Redirects all users. |
Do not redirect www | Users typing “www” will not be redirected. |
Apply the Changes
- Click Add to confirm and apply the redirect.
